This system uses a arced internal frame slot and a spring-mounted blade pivot which allows the blade to open instantly by pressing down on the thumb disk and then releasing it quickly with a quick forward flick. The 3.125-Inch blade is a modified drop point of premium AUS 8 stainless steel with a swedged top edge, high hollow grind that is lightened by seven holes. It has a Razor-Sharp and Triple Point serrated combo cutting edge. The lightweight 6061 aluminum scales are hard anodized matte black that are also liberally drilled and scalloped.
